Have You Heard the Buzz? Virtual Assistant Franchising Opportunity

Here's a new take on starting a Virtual Assistant business.

Busy Bee Virtual Assistance (TM) offers licensing and franchising opportunities.

This is the first time of I've heard of a Virtual Assistant franchise (or maybe I just wasn't listening) but it seems like a great idea to me. Buying a franchise allows you to work with an established brand and statistically, franchises have a higher success rate than independent businesses.

Hello - I am Patricia Beckman, Founder of Cybertary, the only known registered franchisor in the Virtual Assistant industry in the United States. We registered as a franchisor in 2006 and now have several franchisees across the US, all of whom have very positive things to say about their Cybertary experience.

Our client-facing public website can be found at Cybertary.com. The franchise offering is described in detail at CybertaryFranchise.com.

In a nut shell, we offer our franchisees the following -
 Access to an established and successful corporate structure
 Training and support that includes:
o An extensive 4-binder Training & Operations set of manuals
o 4 days of intensive training and
o 90 days of weekly one-on-one coaching sessions
 Unlimited and ongoing continuing education resource for expanding their technical skills and services through a self–paced, web training system.
 Complete marketing startup package that includes business cards, stationery, note cards, flyers, portfolios, logo shirt, auto signage, website and a personalized webpage
 Monthly newsletter that can be personalized and distributed to your customer base
 Exclusive marketing territory that can be expanded
 Proprietary Intranet for easy access to secure workload management, messaging, shared calendar, contact management, document storage, discussion forums, and more
 Established network of highly skilled collaborative team members and a searchable database listing profiles and skills of other franchisees and team members that can become your subconsultants
 Prepared corporate documents that include customer presentations and proposals, contracts, agreements, billing rate guidelines and billing and collection forms
 Customized QuickBooks® accounting data format , business planning and cash flow management tools

We make an active effort to continue giving back to our great industry as well by sponsoring the IVAA and the IVAA Summit. We also support and endorse the Brenner Information Group study on the VA industry as well as actively working on advisory panels for a few community college VA certification programs.

I perused the Busy Bee site, as it appears to mention the terms "licensing" and "franchise opportunities" only under their FAQ page without further information. I would venture to guess that Busy Bee has not yet legally registered as a franchisor, nor undergone the (excruciatingly expensive)infrastructural development that a franchisor would need to support franchisees.

Patricia,

Thank you for your informative comment, and for explaining the benefits of becoming a Cybertary franchisee. As well, congratulations to you for developing a unique and valuable resource for Virtual Assistants.

Yes, it could be that Busy Bee has not legally registered as a franchisor as of yet. I'm not familiar with the company, but I found the concept of a Virtual Assistant franchise very intriguing.

Your comment was very enlightening.

Thank you, and I wish you every success.
